ETP is a cold rolled mild steel coil or sheet, coated on both sides with
tin by a continuous electrolytic operation. According to whether the two exterior tinning is flat, it can be
divided into two kinds of equal thickness electroplated tin plate
and differential thickness electroplated tin plate. The former is
flat on both sides, and the latter is more tin plating on one side
of the inner wall, and less on the other side of the outer wall. On
the outer wall of the need for color printing can be selected for
the empty tin plating thickness.
Tinplate is a thin steel sheet coated by tin. It has an extremely
beautiful metallic luster as well as excellent properties in
corrosion resistance, solderability, and weldability. Tinplate is
used for making all types of containers such as food cans, beverage cans,
18-liter cans, and artistic cans.
