also known as tin-plated iron, mainly refers to cold-rolled
low-carbon steel sheets or steel strips plated with pure tin on
both sides. Due to the anti-corrosion effect of tin, tinplate is
not easy to rust. Also, because tin’s corrosion resistance,
solderability, and aesthetics are combined with the strength and
molding characteristics of steel, tinplate also has the advantages
of non-toxic, high strength, and good ductility.
